The Art of Haiku

Photograph of comet against Teeter Rock,
KS

The comet light shimmering, engulfing the dark night skyline.
Showing me your silhouette, next to the megalith heaven dropped.
A million years in the ground, waiting for this moment of union.

CAROL SIRCOULOMB

The above picture was taken with a Hasselblad camera 80 millimeter lens on Kodak T400cn film. The rock is called Teeter rock and is in the middle of the Kansas Flint hills.
