ED BAKER: THINGS JUST COME THROUGH

This is a small book in two languages, with a personal touch. There is one haiku-like poem per page in English, with the other language (Korean) in freehand on the facing page. There are a few very pleasant drawings that are in keeping with the style. This book has a good feel about it. There are no full-stops to be seen and the poems are of a linear shape over four or more lines:

	Snipping

	some

	flower

	what's
	left

	her
	fragrance
The subtitle is KOREAN SPRING ORCHID and I count eleven small pieces about this flower. As in the example above, the book links the flower to a girl, and one piece names it:
	Korean
	  Flower

	    opening

	       entirely

	          within

	         and

	           without
This little book has a contemplative feel and is a pleasant introduction to the Korean orchid.
