Poetry from NHI publications

TAPESTRY
Stitch by stitch ideas are woven,
Shaped by skill and artistry,
Interwoven threads expressing
Tortuous paths of troubled thought.

Rainbow colours sparkle wetly;
Merge to greet their neighbour's hue
Like a dream with faded edges
Greets the early scents of dawn.

Work completed answers questions
Hid by humdrum busyness —
Answered not by words or music
But by pattern, thread and form.
