Aabye's Baby
THE WEYDENHAMMER PORTRAIT
(A Previously Unknown Portrait From Life of Johann Sebastian Bach)
portrait
I'm staring at the face of Bach
on a computer screen:
1024x768 High Color (16 bit) Resolution.

Pixilated by pixels,
I don't know what to make of it —

Prominent forehead,
Dominant chin,
Arch of eyebrow,
Ridge of nose.

An interesting face,
Pixelated with complexity:

Eyes not quite matching
each other
burning with an intensity
striking mallets
into my heart.
