NEW HOPE INTERNATIONAL REVIEW

An Outburst from the Sarbangin Poetry Movement, this is a slim but interesting little magazine, bilingual Bangla/English, which I've not seen before.

Some of the poems have a concrete look to them, incoporating little illos into the text, somewhat like a childrens' puzzle story, which gives the magazine a most unusual appearance.

The Bangla script itself is beautiful, quite unlike anything I've ever seen before, utterly different to Roman-style alphabets, or even Cyrillic.
