Horror Verse by William P. Robertson and Macabre Music by ShadowFox recorded at Shadowsound Recording, Duke Center, PA.

A little treasure for anybody who's a fan of Poe, poetry and good old rock 'n' roll.

Some of these are little snippets of horror, such as BRAINS, a mere eleven seconds. DEVIL ON MTV on the other hand, is four minutes five seconds of solid, tight heavy rock. I kinda like this band!

My particular favourites are JIM MORRISON with his "organ mad world" and his "face of a troubled angel". Also YOU ARE THE PAIN is an effective piece with the mic echo effect making the narrator's voice sound eerie and emotive. Likewise HUSBAND (GHOST) a slight yet enigmatic entry. But NO ONE WONDERED gets my prize for Bride from Hell!

There are some great sound effects that add to the spookiness. I love the black and white photo of the stone angel featured on the card sleeve cover.

More and more poets are being attracted to recording their work on audio CD. And this example is a worthy addition to any poetry/horror fan's collection.
